From the CADET 60 Yearbook -- "Big Tom All-Albany Football and City Champion in Track is the big athlete at University Heights this year. He won the Tom McCan Award as the outstanding scholastic football player in the area. He also garnered the American Legion Award for being the best lineman of the past season. Tom can usually be seen with B. Buckolff, J. Pedlow and B. Cary. His hobbies are throwing the shot in his backyard and singing. After graduation Tom expects to attend college and follow a pre-med course. Good luck Tom."
 
What's happened since - After Yale I went to Northwestern Law, spent two years in the Army at Ft Campbell, Ky and then went to Business School at Stanford. I have been a lawyer/entrepreneur/venture capitalist in Silicon Valley ever since. Wonderful marriage to the former Ellen Thibodeau of Vincentian; two kids, five grandkids. Spend alot of time singing, writing and traveling, but don't intend to ever retire...until I'm dead.

From the CADET 60 -- "During the fall and winter months Art longs for the first signs of spring because he is anxiously awaiting the opening of another baseball season. He enjoys it most when he is behind the plate calling the signals. Of  late he has added bowling to his favorite sports. Art plans to go to college next fall and then work with his father."

From the CADET 60 Yearbook -- "Russ is one of the best liked seniors, which can be seen by his election to the presidency of the A.D.C and Vice-Presidency of the Knights. He is known for his friendliness and thoughtfulness toward his fellow cadets. Russ is seen around the campus and at all games with J. Schaefer, J. Goetz and R. Cronin. He plans to attend either the Air Force Academy or some medical college."

From the CADET 60 Yearbook -- "Steve is one of our six-year men. His congenial mannerisms and bubbling personality have made him many true friends. His popularity can be shown by his election to the Dance Committee and an officer in the A.D.C and Knights. He really enjoys passing many hours on the golf course where he shoots in the low 70's. Upon graduation Steve plans to attend Manhattan College where he will take up engineering."

What's happened since --  I did go to Manhattan  College, but not for engineering but for biology. From there I went to the University of Buffalo and received a degree in Dentistry, doing a residency the next year at Albany Medical Center Hospital. I spent the next 40 years engaged in a general practice in Guilderland. I retired 4years ago, moving to the Hilton Head area in South Carolina. I still play golf but the scores have increased with age. Hope to see you all in September.
